Welcome to the SPAARK trial website.
The SPAARK trial aims to assess the clinical and cost effectiveness of periarticular liposomal bupivacaine (EXPAREL®) and bupivacaine hydrochloride compared with bupivacaine hydrochloride alone for post-operative recovery after knee replacement surgery.
The SPAARK trial is now closed to recruitment. We would like to thank all those who have contributed to the study for their time and effort to ensure that the trial is a success!
